Architectural lighting

Nowadays architectural illumination of facades is part of city lighting. It is special feature of certain buildings

This illumination is able to emphasize artificial, functional and style features of buildings, and also to accentuate expressiveness of some objects. Various options of an artistic image of object are developed: general floodlighting, local lighting, shining facades, silhouette lighting, planimetric lighting, dynamic color lighting and many others. Everything depends on the imagination and functional tasks of the building.

Light can feature space, affect content and set style. Sunlight is always outside, atmosphere is changing constantly, and the combination of light and shadows changes appearance of subjects. In the room game of natural and artificial lighting is the functional and decorative decision. Decorative lighting is freely combined with other types of it, and also can be used independently.

Decorative light is used in illumination of ceilings, walls, floors and ladders, furniture and unique light objects — panels and installations.

Esthetic pleasure and mood are main functions of decorative light. Light is able to change room dimensions, emphasizes or hides certain subjects or decorative details of them. Scattered or the directional light, impinging at various angles, from different height, on various surfaces, it unveils additional potential and creates the necessary atmosphere.

Decorative lighting can have operated and programmable intensity of light and color palette. It is possible to connect it to the existing automated control systems of the building and install decorative illumination in any room (or out of it): in the apartment, house, office, cafe, restaurant or hotel. It is desirable to plan it at a design stage of construction or repair to use possibilities of illumination as much as possible.
